Coverage available for basic care senior housing in such scenarios
as:
- Adult Foster Care (1 or more seniors live with a family in a residential
home)
- Residential Care Facility (facility in which seniors reside which
provides assistance with basic daily needs such as meals, housekeeping,
laundry - little or no medical assistance is provided),
- Alzheimer's Care Facilities (Stages 1-5),
- Group Homes (residential homes for developmentally disabled or
mentally retarded individuals),
- Independent Living Services (seniors remain in their own homes
but staff members assist them regularly with their basic needs such as meals,
housekeeping, grocery shopping, etc.)
NURSING HOMES OR RISKS WITH MORE THAN INCIDENTAL MEDICAL PERSONNEL
ON STAFF ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROGRAM.
GENERAL LIABILITY
- Limits up to $1,000,000/$2,000,000 including professional liability and
limited abuse/molestation coverage were applicable
- Includes $5,000 Medical Payments (excludes residents)
- Products liability for claims arising from food or beverage served
- Personal injury for libel or slander
- Employees covered as insureds
- No liability deductible
- Optional Nonowned Auto may be available
- $5,000 Coverage for Damage to Property of Others available
- Monoline General Liability Policies available (will include Professional
and Limited Abuse/Molestation)
PROPERTY
- Special or Broadform Coverage Available
- Equipment Breakdown Coverage Included
- Optional Business Income Available
- Property must be part of a Package with General Liability - no Monoline
Property policies available
ADDITIONAL COVERAGE AVAILABLE includes Crime, Inland Marine, Limited
Property Extension Endorsement and Umbrella coverage up to $5,000,000 limits.
Acord applications and Residential Care Supplement required to quote. Financial
statements required within 10 days of binding if property values exceed $300,000.
Interest free payment plan is available on risks over $5,000 Premium.
